I'd originally been planning to go up Mount Cameroon with Tracey and Karen in August 2005, Nigerian immigration and their ridiculous processing time for a re-entry visa put a stop to that plan.

Some other people had been planning for some time to attempt it at Christmas, so I joined them. We ended up with Amy, Chantal, Charles, Indar, Jenny, Jonathan, Karin, Pete and me trekking up the mountain with nine porters and two guides.

Route

This picture shows (roughly) the route we took. I didn't record many waypoints on my GPS, only campsites and a few significant stops are there.
