I went for a wander round today this afternoon with my new toy: a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.europe-nikon.com\/product\/en_GB\/products\/broad\/1617\/overview.html\">Nikon D90<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I started off walking up Vasavagen to <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Raoul_Wallenberg\">Raoul Wallenberg&#8217;s<\/a> square.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/media\/Sweden\/Linkoping\/Walk20090530\/StatueAtRaoulWallenbergsPlats_w.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/Sweden\/Linkoping\/Walk20090530\/StatueAtRaoulWallenbergsPlats_t.jpg\" title=\"The statue in Raoul Wallenbergs plats in Link\u00f6ping.\" alt=\"A greenish bronze statue of two standing figures on top of a pink granite column.\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On the way up to the cathedral there&#8217;s another statue sitting outside the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ostergotlandslansmuseum.se\/\">L\u00e4nsmuseum<\/a> and lots of flowers covering this walkway.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/media\/Sweden\/Linkoping\/Walk20090530\/StatueOutsideLansmuseum_w.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/Sweden\/Linkoping\/Walk20090530\/StatueOutsideLansmuseum_t.jpg\" title=\"The statue outside the L\u00e4nsmuseum, with the cathedral in the background.\" alt=\"The head of a statue of a woman, apparently looking up towards the cathedral's tower (seen in the background).\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"\/media\/Sweden\/Linkoping\/Walk20090530\/PathToCathedral_w.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/Sweden\/Linkoping\/Walk20090530\/PathToCathedral_t.jpg\" title=\"The path from the L\u00e4nsmuseum to the cathedral.\" alt=\"A path goes under an arch of bright yellow flowers.\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Up at Tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rdsforeningen they were celebrating 150 years since the society was formed, with music and dancers on the stage. On both sides of the river there were stages, beer tents and various activities going on.
