Recently I&#8217;ve noticed a few improbable search strings.<\/p>\n<p>For example <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=german%20influence%20in%20argentina&#038;sourceid=opera&#038;num=50&#038;ie=utf-8&#038;oe=utf-8\">&#8220;german influence in argentina&#8221;<\/a>, &#8220;toga party photos&#8221; or even &#8220;planning a 60th birthday party&#8221; (don&#8217;t know what search engine they used!).<\/p>\n<p>Some are a bit worrying, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=little%20girls%20peru&#038;sourceid=opera&#038;num=50&#038;ie=utf-8&#038;oe=utf-8\">&#8220;little girls peru&#8221;<\/a> for example (what <em>were<\/em> you looking for?).  Others just never should have led people to my site, why on earth would somebody looking for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=second%20hand%20petrol%20go-karts&#038;sourceid=opera&#038;num=50&#038;ie=utf-8&#038;oe=utf-8\">&#8220;second hand petrol go-karts&#8221;<\/a> be interesting in this site?<\/p>\n<p>Search engines are very odd things, even the good ones&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I occasionally check my webserver stats, and sometimes find odd things such as the weird referrers.
