It&#8217;s quite nice up there, very peaceful given how close to Kaduna and the Kaduna-Zaria Expressway you are.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/media\/Nigeria\/Kaduna\/Rigacikun\/11Mar06\/BushHarmattan1_w.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/Nigeria\/Kaduna\/Rigacikun\/11Mar06\/BushHarmattan1_t.jpg\" alt=\"Dry, dusty landscape with fields. Trees and roofs on the horizon\" title=\"Fields and villages in the bush\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nWe stopped off in one of the small villages to talk to the locals (in a mixture of English and broken Hausa) and the usual crowd of children turned up to look at us.  Sitting outside the shop drinking warm Seven-Up was pleasant, although one of the local men seemed to be trying to persuade us to buy him a bottle of gin.<\/p>\n<p>I asked if it was OK to take some pictures and the men immediately started posing.
