I finally managed to get to see <a title=\"The WAiFS Official Website...\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thewaifs.com.au\/\">The WAiFS<\/a>, after failing to get into the club tent on Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re an Australian band and everyone had been talking about them since Friday night.  It seems (according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/radio2\">Bob Harris&#8217;s<\/a> introduction) that they sold more albums at the festival than any other band.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flook.co.uk\/\">Flook<\/a> were also excellent, folk music with flutes instead of fiddles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday was the last day of the Folk Festival and probably my favourite day of this year.
