Japanese mopeds seem to be the most popular but there are also lots of mysterious old bikes.<\/p>\n<p>I thought at the time that they looked a bit eastern-European, and I was right.  The most common makes I saw were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mztech.fsnet.co.uk\/\" title=\"UK MZ Riders Club\">MZ<\/a> (DDR) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jawa.as\/\">Jawa<\/a> (Czechoslovakia).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One thing I noticed while I was in Turkey was the number of motorbikes around.
